We come to therapy because we want to experience our lives as more satisfying. It is my job to provide a space that facilitates the changes you desire. With change there are growing pains. In a sense, I offer pain management. Whether you go into the past, or concentrate on the present, we focus on removing what isn't working for you and replacing it with tools and experiences that support you in your life. This is done in a self-accepting, non-judgmental way. I also offer Tipi, a technique that can eliminate specific anxieties, phobias, and impulsive responses.
My style is interactive, focusing on your needs, ensuring you feel supported. Finding a therapist who is a good match is imperative. Someone who appreciates you is key. *Tipi, which is done in as little as one session, can be in-person, on the phone or online.
Because psychotherapy is not my first career, I bring an expansive perspective while working with you. My experience and training will assist you in creating a safe path towards your intended goals. Whether you address a specific fear with tipi, or you want longer term psychotherapy, I will support you.
