Michael Grubb, PhD, Psychologist in San Francisco
I have a collaborative, related style to help us take a look together at repeating patterns, unforeseen changes, or dissatisfaction and other difficulties in life, in order to see what has and has not worked for you in the past, and what might work for you in the future. My approach is holistic and combines Jungian analysis, dream work, cognitive and behavioral interventions, art work and sand play. I also work with couples to help work through difficult issues and learn skills to build a solid relationship foundation.
I work with a broad range of psychological and emotional problems and am particularly attuned to relationship issues (including alternative relationships), career/work issues, grief/loss, social anxiety, sexuality (including gay/lesbian/bisexual issues), trauma, addiction and recovery, overeating, creativity, and spirituality and fundamentalism.
