For over thirty-five years I have been immersed in helping children, adolescents, and adults change the dysfunctional attitudes and relationship patterns that have interfered with their ability to live in fulfilling ways. My focus with clients is on promoting their psychological healing and development, integrating their whole person--mind, body, and spirit. I am passionately committed to supporting others on their courageous journeys from woundedness to wisdom.
I have found that using in-depth, relational therapy (integrated with other therapy methods) has proven effective in helping my clients heal their emotional injuries. This whole-person mindful therapeutic approach also helps people learn to manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors more effectively, enhancing their ability to function in all aspects of their lives.
My book, "Transforming Wounds into Wisdom," also guides people on their growth journeys. This practical road map helps readers learn to see, and understand, their life-long attitude patterns. Building on this awareness, it guides them through the processes of both healing past wounds and developing more flexible and adaptive ways of functioning in life.
