Changes are hard, but not impossible. I believe lasting change occurs through profound self-understanding and awareness. This can be achieved through a collaborative relationship where we talk and think together to gain insights and meanings. My role is to provide a safe environment where a trusting relationship can be built. By listening to your stories, I will help you process the thoughts and feelings that emerge in order to develop a deeper understanding of your past traumas, inner conflicts, and destructive patterns. These newfound insights will then guide you to make changes in your current relationships or life situations.
I work with individuals and couples who experience a range of emotional, behavioral, and social issues, including perinatal mental health, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work stress, life transitions, and grief and bereavement. I focus on providing a safe space for Asian Americans, immigrants, and people navigating multicultural identities.
I specialize in working with interracial and mixed-heritage couples, and couples who are family planning, experiencing fertility challenges, or grieving a pregnancy loss. Services are available in Cantonese and Mandarin. Please email me for a free consultation.
