We will work together to help you manage feelings stirred up by isolation, loneliness, anger, unfair self-criticism, and poor self-esteem. I use knowledge of human development and the mind to teach you to manage anxiety, anger, and depression. It is not unusual for my clients to discover creativity from childhood that had become dormant in adult life through our work together, and I can help clients progress quickly with fewer sessions. Why pay psychiatrist fees when you can see a certified psychoanalyst for less and progress better and more quickly?
I completed a master's in social work from Columbia University, Psychoanalytic training at the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute 1996-2002, Adult Certification in Psychoanalysis by the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA), and child work at the Ryther Child and Anna Freud Centers. I am a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis (FABP)
It is not unusual for my clients to discover creativity from childhood and sort through what is troubling them. You will get to know yourself better and hopefully cope with what life hands you. Also, I am very knowledgeable about adopting healthy lifestyles including nutrition, exercise, relaxation, sleep, and social connections.
