Linda L. Guerra, MA, PhD, Psychologist in Philadelphia
I help people to clarify what they want from psychotherapy, and then work with them to facilitate their achieving their goals as quickly as possible. I have a warm and flexible style and tailor what I do to the individual client. I do not believe that psychotherapy is a "one size fits all" process, and will therefore use different approaches depending on what is most appropriate and useful with a particular client at a particular time.
I am a highly trained and very experienced psychologist who enjoys doing both short and long term psychotherapy/consultation, and who works effectively with individuals, couples and groups. I enjoy assisting people with making the changes that they desire, and with achieving greater peace and happiness with themselves and their lives.
I am particularly sensitive to and experienced with relationship or family of origin issues, career difficulties, problems involving anxiety or low self-esteem, and the emotional complications associated with infertility, death of a family member, or with serious physical illnesses such as breast or lung cancer.
