Life can be tough, confusing, overwhelming, complex, & mystifying. Maybe you feel worry, fear, sad and/or lonely. We are each a singular part of various systems (couple-hood, family, work, faith, community, school), and navigating those systems in healthy ways can feel confusing & difficult. The ability to reach out for help is an act of risk-taking. Therapy can help you develop perspective, insight, self-understanding, & coping skills to manage your life better.
I work virtuallywith children ages 9 and over, parents, couples, & individuals. I use combinations of psychoeducation, boundary work, communication skills, talk therapy, expressive arts, setting behavioral goals, restructuring negative thought processes, & family of origin work (to help identify the impact of early family dynamics on current functioning).
I have a B.A degree in Developmental Psychology, an M.A degree in Family Systems Psychology, & post-graduate training in Play Therapy. I use Gottman methods to improve communication skills. My goal is to support & guide you on your journey toward positive mental health/wellbeing, insight, personal growth, better relationships, & desired changes.
