For over 20 years I have helped people make effective change in their lives with a variety of problems. I am best known for my skills in treating people who have difficult situations, feel out of control over their lives, and need more stability in their emotions and relationships. Being proactive in therapy I tend to have individuals do outside work to enhance the therapy process. Meditation and mindfulness groups are offered at our office to assist as well.
My approach to treatment is an integrative approach using Cognitive Behavioral therapy as well as Mindfulness based therapies. I have found that this approach tends to allow for greater and longer lasting change. I also offer a specialty in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and we have an ongoing Skills Training group for adults and adolescents.
