The Brain Clinic, PhD, Psychologist in New York
Do you want to feel better? Do you want to maximize your brain's potential? Are you looking for alternative methods to treat your problems? I am a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist in practice for over 35 years who can help you. I specialize in diagnosing and treating adult Attention Deficit Disorder, learning disabilities, mild head injuries, pain management, and most psychological problems including depression, anxiety, work problems and other issues. Treatment can include psychotherapy, cognitive remediation, neurofeedback and biofeedback. My psychotherapy approach is utilizing structured ways of planning to improve one's situation, as well as exercises that can help improve cognition.
I have seven books to my credit, including 'Do you have Attention Deficit Disorder?' (Dell, 1996). I have had faculty appointments at NYU, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and John Jay College. I have degrees from Yale, UC Berkeley and CUNY, and post-doctoral certificates in neuropsychology, cognitive therapy, and neurofeedback.
I am Past President of the Independent Practice and Neuropsychology Divisions of the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), and on the Board of Directors of the International Dyslexia Association (New York branch) and the New York Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury.
