www.markrushphd.com Goal is for clients to make changes they want sooner, with lasting positive effects for themselves, others in their lives, and their environments. I believe that it is important that the approach being used makes sense to my clients. I ask my clients if the approach seems usable, and invite them to question it. Also believe it is important to quickly develop well-defined goals based on my client's priorities for therapy, and for them to have relevant things to work on in between sessions. Anger Management, Also Anxiety Mangagement

Skill based groups around learning to use emotional states such as anger and anxiety to your benefit. Learning how to allow these emotions to process through you and then decide what to do after you have calmed down. People in the group help each other find interesting ways to utilize and apply the skills. A group can be very effective for either of these issues. People don't usually make good choices when angry or anxious. Learn the thoughts related to these issues and how to handle them. Also use emotions as tools.
