Tara Arnold, PhD, LCSW, CEDS, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Atlanta
Are you ready for change in your life? Do you want deeper and more fulfilling connection with yourself and others? Healing is possible. Many of us feel stuck in certain aspects of our lives. Maybe our relationships, career, or our family is not what we had envisioned for ourselves. I believe that through understanding and awareness, we can move towards becoming our true selves and experience life more deeply. We can learn to connect more fully with others and transform our lives.
As a therapist, I am nonjudgemental, empathetic, and goal oriented. I work with men and women with eating disorders, weight management concerns, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. I specialize in treating eating disorders, with particular emphasis on anorexia. My treatment philosophy is based in cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy.
I am an interactive and engaged therapist. I offer dialectical behavior therapy and enjoy using an educational approach when appropriate. I conduct DBT groups for women, men and adolescents. I also lead body image groups, interpersonal process groups, and women's eating disorder groups. I work with individuals, groups, families, and couples.
