His favorite sports teams are the Denver Broncos and the Syracuse Orange. He has conducted extensive research on the father-child relationship.
Dr. Sutherland, Jr., a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, INC, played & later coached football while attending West Georgia. The Sutherland Center has provided in-home counseling to 13 counties in the metro Atlanta area and TeleMental Health for GA residents.
