I am a psychotherapist and Mindful Self-Compassion Trained Teacher and am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy). I integrate mindfulness skills and a variety of clinical modalities, including sensorimotor therapy, into my work with all clients. I love helping people realize that they have the capacity to shift their stories - to become skilled at managing the pathways that lead to suffering.
I have a specific interest in traumatic loss, and worked for several years at the Center for Grief, Loss and Transition in St. Paul prior to starting my private practice. As a self-compassion teacher and practitioner, I believe that we heal when we are able to attune to all parts of self -mind, body and heart.
