I provide virtual (video and phone) psychotherapy and counseling for adults living anywhere in Georgia and Florida. I work with a wide range of adult issues, including anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer). My first goal with you as a new client is to establish a genuine human relationship where you can feel safe, relaxed and understood. To that end, you will notice that sessions feel conversational and "real." I also bring extensive clinical experience and expertise. I'm naturally empathic and validating but will also challenge you to take ownership of your own life and choices.
I specialize in treating mood disorders, relationship issues, and sexual identity issues. I have worked as an adjunct professor of psychology at several Atlanta area universities, and am a regular guest lecturer at Emory University. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the Georgia Psychological Association.
