Terrence Alspaugh, LCPC, Counselor in Baltimore
Finding solutions, achieving goals, discovering strengths, improving relationships - to reach such positive objectives, I use an integrated therapeutic approach that draws upon evidence-based treatment interventions and creative modalities tailored to the unique needs of the individual. With over 20 years of counseling experience, I work with a broad spectrum of clients and client issues: ADHD, child & adolescent/parent conflicts, family therapy, couples counseling, anger management, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, social skills training, and parenting education. Work with young children springs from play therapy, including art therapy, bibliotherapy, & therapeutic board and card games. For older children and adolescents, the framework may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, Jungian analytical therapy, and family therapy. Modalities with parents, couples, and individual adults include: solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and family therapy.
I am experienced in coordinating a client's treatment with medical, academic, social service, criminal justice, and other specialized personnel. I have worked with clients from age 3 to 80 in school, clinic, church, and community settings. I also help clients who are struggling with spiritual and faith concerns.
