**As of January 1, 2024: I am accepting new clients. I'm fortunate that I figured out that I wanted to help others when I was 19-- I just knew this career was for me. My approach is pro-active & encouraging. I'm not here to judge you. We'll examine your thinking patterns and practice skills to reduce uncomfortable feelings. For anxiety, I'll help you face worries gradually to set you up for success. Your accomplishments are mine too. Since emotional issues often impact relationships, I offer family sessions to increase family cohesiveness.
I specialize in treating Anxiety: OCD, Panic Disorder, and Phobias plus school & test anxiety, fear of failure, perfectionism, and challenges in making decisions. I also treat Trichotillomania (hair pulling) and Excoriation Disorder (skin picking). I use Cognitive Behavior therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention, and the Comprehensive Behavioral model.
