I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Fairfield. I am dedicated to working with people to help them discover their inner strengths and to improve their emotional well being. I provide individual treatment for adolescents and adults from a psychodynamic perspective. I am also a certified Yoga instructor and, when appropriate, incorporate yogic principles as well as mindfulness techniques to treat people with a variety of issues and life challenges. Some of these include: struggles with anxiety and depression, panic attacks, grief and loss, aging parents, loss of a child or parent, infertility and adoption, postpartum, parenting, life transition issues, and relationship difficulties.
I have helped many women considering reentering the work force with their often accompanying feelings of fear and insecurity. I work with young adults helping them through the process of becoming more autonomous. I have helped many work through traumatic events providing them with the tools necessary to manage intense feelings these events usually evoke.
Providing a setting in which you feel comfortable and safe to talk freely and openly is of the utmost importance to me. Together we embark on a therapeutic journey to explore and better understand what is preventing you from moving forward and help you to actualize whatever it is that you envision for yourself.
