Heidi Leibovich, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Pittsburgh
My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal focused and solution oriented. I believe that within the therapeutic process, one can discover the tools necessary to feel better, improve relationships, and develop positive ways of thinking and coping with the stresses of life. I strive to create a compassionate, professional and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe as they begin to move towards new and healthy ways of living. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to individualize treatment for each client, including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, individual/family systems, humanistic and eclectic.
I have experience working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, mood disorders and personality disorders. I also have experience working with adolescents with truancy, addiction, and delinquency issues, as well as adults who suffer from addiction issues.
