I have 43 years of experience, in both mental health counseling and administrative work. My current practice is focused on assisting adults (ages 19-85) who are struggling with life issues, emotional stress, depression, anxiety and other challenges. The approaches I use are person-centered and motivational, with a focus on achieving the goals of the individual, family or couple. Assisting with skill building and/or identifying new tools can make the difference toward individual happiness and better life contentment.
I work with individuals, couples and families who are dealing with emotional or relationship issues. In therapy sessions, the focus is on identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and tools that promote empowerment, strength and well being.
Generally, I prefer to have a brief phone discussion with potential clients prior to establishing an initial appointment. I will respond by e-mail, phone call or text message within 72 hours of your inquiry.
