Sarah Contorer

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LCSW

(773) 234-8998
I use supportive, insight-oriented and cognitive techniques in order to help my clients identify the source of their dissatisfaction, and begin to pursue a more fulfilling life. Beginning therapy takes courage. However, it is very often a relief to gain perspective on issues that at present may feel overwhelming or unmanageable. I see therapy as an opportunity to find relief from distress, and to find lasting, sustainable improvement in the quality of your life.
The focus of my practice is reducing anxiety and depression, adjusting to life transitions, and building self-esteem and good relationships. My style is friendly, collaborative, and non-judgmental. Clients view me as someone who is easy to talk to, and who has a genuine desire to help.
My office is located one half-block south of the CTA brown line (Damen stop), on the southeast corner of Damen and Wilson.
