Something that sets me apart from other therapists is my fresh perspective and enthusiasm to help others. I am qualified to work with a wide range of people, but I specialize in working with people who wish to connect with themselves and explore how past experiences, relationships with others and their sexuality form their identity. My passion for understanding how people think, feel and interact with others led me to the field of psychotherapy.
I specialize in long-term therapy. I practice psychoanalytically informed theory, primarily self psychological, with an incorporation of mindfulness practice. My therapeutic purpose is to help people achieve a better understanding of themselves, leading them to healthy decision making, and self-fulfillment.
Logistics: I accept BCBS PPO insurance plans, out network benefits and self-pay. If you wish to use a different insurance plan, I will be happy to write an invoice for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Also, I offer a limited number of evening appointments. I look forward to our first session together.
