I have been a clinical social worker for over 40 years. My training has taken me from psychoanalytic training to the more recent trends of mindfulness.
My passion has always been to help clients reach their optimum potential---to unlock the courage to resolve their conflicts.
As I work with families that have been involved in high conflict divorce, I strive to bring balance as the families adjust to their new configuration.
I believe the ideal situation for children of divorce is to have parents who encourage and continue to support positive, nurturing relationships with each other.
My specialties are mood disorders and relationship challenges. I work with adults, adolescents and children 6 and older. I am available to speak to groups on a variety of topics.
The uniqueness of my practice lies in my clinical experience. I have worked inpatient/outpatient chemical dependency and psychiatric settings. I was recently awarded the HAARTA (Heritage Adjunct Appreciation and Recognition) award for my work as an adjunct professor at Heritage University for 2013-2014 academic year..
