Everyone deserves to live a life rich with happiness and connection!
The trouble is, as human beings, we all go through times of suffering and struggle. I can assist you on your journey to figure out how to live better and cope with the challenges. Our work together will be based on trust, sharing, increasing your self awareness, building self compassion and most importantly, developing the story you want to live in your life. We will have therapeutic conversations in a safe, trusting environment that honors your knowledge and understanding of yourself.
I keep in mind that people's lives are multi-storied. My approach to therapy is influenced by narrative ideas and these ideas are vital to helping people change and create meanings they prefer. I am also guided by Buddhist ideas and Mindfulness. These approaches work well to provide a rich resource for change.
I enjoy doing therapy because I enjoy people! In addition to honoring your story, it is a place where mutual respect, curiosity, compassion and hope can thrive. After 30 years of experience doing therapy, virtually and in person, I continue to value meeting all kinds of people and helping people change.
