Ms. Sara Jungen

Psychologist , BA(hon), MA , RPsych

(403) 775-1913
Often described as having a calm presence, Sara Jungen, a Registered Psychologist, enjoys working with individuals, couples and families. Sara completed her B.A. (honours) in Psychology at the University of Calgary. After some time doing therapeutic work both locally and internationally, it became clear that in order to be of most benefit to others, she needed to further her training and delve deeper into her own process.
For her Masters degree, Sara attended Naropa University in Boulder, CO, an institute that strongly emphasizes personal work, believing that in order to help others, we fist have to look at out own demons and work through our own challenges.
By integrating traditional counselling tools with eastern techniques such as mindfulness, Sara empowers clients to implement the changes they seek, and gain greater self-awareness. Using EMDR, Sara supports clients in healing from trauma and regaining confidence and clarity. Sara looks forward to being part of your journey of healing and growth.
