Melanie Roedel, LPC, MAMFT, Licensed Professional Counselor in Hillsboro
Parents: Do you feel overwhelmed? Concerned? I specialize in treating children 4 years and older, working collaboratively with parents & families to build healthier, happier families. With young children, I practice Play Therapy, which is effective in treating many concerns including: behavioral & social concerns, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, & ADD/ADHD. With adolescents, I utilize a variety of treatment methods, including traditional talk, Sandtray, & Art Therapy, to meet their specific needs.
Parents often tell me they feel they've lost control at home, and would like to find the "joy" in parenting again. Together, we work towards re-building confidence, & strengthening core parenting skills-- supporting relationships and positive change in the household. Change is difficult, but the benefits of a stronger, healthier family are immeasurable.
I am able to bill most insurances, and am happy to help determine what your in or out-of network benefits may be. Daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments are offered. If you have any questions, please call 503-567-1302. Thank you.
