Functional Therapy is a wrap-around, holistic method including analysis of one's sleep, exercise, dietary, recreating and stress-juggling patterns. A tuned-up body/brain can significantly facilitate cognitive/emotive progress. A kaizen approach to change allows real-world, practical strategies for growth in a short time-frame. Some issues may take longer, yet with a brief, solution-focused approach many clients reach their goals within a few meetings. My approach is down-to-earth, unorthodox, humorous when needed and with gentle, yet straight-forward feedback building on strengths and resiliency you already possess.
In addition to traditional studies, years of experience as a mediator and corporate trainer taught me results-oriented techniques offered in layman's terms for immediate use. I utilize a kaizen approach for lasting change from relationship dynamics to persisting fatigue issues to existential angst. Clients say I make the complex, simple and most practical.
I teach couples /men active listening techniques that can immediately improve relationships. In addition, I have expertise in working with those involved in manipulative relationships. Court-ordered drug and alcohol assessments are also available.
