I am a strong believer in the power of people to change, if given the right tools and the right amount of support. The process of change can be both exciting and frightening at the same time, and as a psychologist, I work with my clients to help them decide if they are ready to make changes and what changes are the right ones to make. In the end, however, the choice to change is one that only the individual can make, as he or she is the only expert on himself or herself.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, using cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy techniques to help them analyze their particular situation and decide how to go about making changes.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer psychological evaluation services in several areas, including assessment of ADHD, diagnostic evaluation, and presurgical bariatric evaluations. Assessment clients can expect a thorough evaluation accompanied by a prompt written report and face-to-face feedback session.
