As an eclectic therapist, I employ many tools when working with you. With adults, I primarily rely on cognitive behavioral techniques. This is an approach that aims to influence dysfunctional emotions, behaviors and thoughts through a goal-oriented, systematic procedure. It is proven to be quite effective with mood, anxiety, personality, eating, substance abuse, and psychotic disorders. With children, I rely on a variety of play therapy and behavioral therapy techniques. Your treatment will be influenced by your own needs and symptoms to help you meet to your goals.
