Do you feel stressed out? Do you worry about how all this tension is impacting your health, relationships, and work? I specialize in evidenced-based therapy to reduce stress and develop healthy communication and connection in your relationships. My initial focus is providing a warm, supportive environment while getting to know your unique situation and concerns. After we agree on a direction for therapy, I tend to be relatively directive and engaged. I help people express emotions and build relationship skills. I work with professionals and students to develop effective stress-management strategies for work-life balance and peak performance.
I work with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, career issues, parenting, and relational problems. I tend to be solution-focused and strength-based, with a strong belief in mindfulness interventions to develop health and well-being. I offer HYPMIND sessions which involve customized meditation and hypnotherapy.
I have previously worked as Clinical Director of the Family Support Center. I utilize the Gottman Method and am a Certified Gottman Educator with the Bringing Baby Home Program. I have advanced training and certification in couples communication, executive leadership assessment and coaching, meditation, hypnotherapy.
