Peggy Woehrlen, ACSW, LMSW, LMFT, PC, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Grosse Pointe
I am happy and honored to work with those individuals (child, teen, or adult) who is interested and invested in becoming their "best selves." It is my professional goal to provide compassionate and attentive psychotherapy in a supportive, practical and effective manner. I work with a wide range of mood and behavioral disorders. Further, I provide coping skills and/or strategies for parent coaching, performance anxiety, chronic health challenges, and life stage adjustments. Finally,, I have many years of clinical experience working effectively with trauma survivors.
I am skilled in a wide range of clinical interventions depending on the age and presenting problems of the person seeking treatment. I can provide short term solution focused treatment as well as longer term intensive psychotherapy. I engage the patient to match my interventions to their specific needs.
Because of my many years of clinical practice in a wide variety of treatment settings I offer a flexibility in developing treatment goals in accordance with what the person seeking treatment is asking for. I make every effort to return phone calls within several hours of receiving a message.
