To grow, to change, and to learn about oneself and those we are close to is a challenge we all face. At times this challenge can feel overwhelming and difficult. There are times in life when engaging in therapy is truly beneficial. Loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties occur. Life transitions can call upon us in ways that are truly unexpected and create disruptioins we are unprepared for.
Trained as a clinical psychologist, I have been in practice 30+ years and have worked with individuals, couples, and families looking to change, searching for relief, and open to their own healing.
I bring skill, thoughtfulness, warmth, and curiosity to my clients. Each situation is unique. Together while developing a therapeutic relationship that is caring and interactive we will chart a course of treatment that will work for you. It may be brief and problem focused or more open-ended and exploratory.
I believe in collaboration and flexibility and utlize psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, and numerous couple therapy treatment modalities.
