Leslie Richmand, LCSW, CEDS, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Plainsboro
I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice for over 30 years. I have particular expertise in treating eating disorders and adolescent issues but also work with all ages seeking help for a variety of issues which include depression, anxiety, self harm, oppositional disorder, trauma, chronic pain, divorce and custody difficulties as well as school, family and work related stress. I see individuals, couples and families in my practice. I offer weekday, evening and Saturday appointments.
I believe in building relationships with clients that feel safe and nurturing, helping people to identify and cope with distress. My treatment methods are eclectic, using evidence based, psychodynamic, cognitive and coaching skills to relieve and treat difficulties. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship that is a trusting and collaborative alliance.
After a long and well established practice in the Princeton area, I work closely with area professionals, physicians and schools as needed to provide additional support for my clients when necessary.
