As a bereaved mother and a trained therapist, I have deep personal, as well as clinical, understanding of the difficult issues facing those grieving the deaths of loved ones. I can help you find your path toward wholeness on this dark, but sometimes beautiful, journey through grief. I have done graduate and post-graduate work in counseling through death, dying, and bereavment, worked with hospices, led groups with bereaved people--parents, spouses, and siblings--of all ages. Your journey is unique, but know that you are not alone.
I also have an extensive background in working with people with autism spectrum disorders. Specifically in helping people with ASD and their families manage behavioral difficulties, social skills and relationship issues. I've worked successfully for over 20 years with adults and adolescents with ASD in private settings.
I am a certified yoga therapist and teacher as well as an award winning author of two books, Finding Your Own Way to Grieve and Yoga for Grief and Loss and self-taught artist. I use creative and expressive techniques to help clients grow in the learning process of grief.
