One of my goals as your therapist would be to provide a relationship of trust, respect and warmth. I want to understand your frame of reference, needs and goals, and tailor my work with you accordingly. To do this, I draw from a wide array of traditions and skills, including psychodynamic therapies, hypnosis, Cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness/meditation training, EMDR, Trauma therapy, relational work, and dream work.
I treat a wide range of issues, specializing in PTSD, Complex trauma (working across the gender/sex spectrum), loss, relationship difficulties, depression/anxiety, facing physical health issues, parenting concerns, and spiritual crises. I take into account all aspects important to you: including the mental, the physical, the relational and the spiritual.
I am trained in the specialized field of Trauma. I also am trained in the use of hypnosis, & if you choose, I will teach you self-hypnosis - a powerful skill that you can use in your daily life. I also have years of experience teaching meditation, and helping people to understand their dreams.
