Chris Danzi, LCSW-R, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Cold Spring Harbor
I provide unconditional positive regard, support, genuineness, empathy, and strength perspective based care for my clients. I believe we all have the potential to meet our goals and to thrive personally and professionally. My treatment is aimed at helping my clients explore and confront life's issues, process related feelings, identify resources, explore options, and learn new skills to manage and cope with their lives. During this process, I provide my clients with needed support and hope to create change.
I have over fifteen years of outpatient behavioral health(psychotherapy) experience and hold a vital position with The NYS Office of Mental Health. I am down to earth and my priority is creating a comfortable and safe environment for each client.
I utilize key components of the traditional Psychoanalytic model, and a more modern, solution focused approach that includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy and DBT to get immediate long lasting results that clients can start to integrate into their lives to improve their relationships, find joy and satisfaction, and meet their goals.
