CONNECT WITH YOURSELF TO CONNECT WITH THE WORLD AROUND YOU." I believe that therapy is a means to illuminate your internal world while helping you to connect with others. Through dialogue, our sessions will focus on clarifying your understanding of your own experiences. This can be the beginning of learning how to simply be with yourself and make meaning of yourself in the world.
In my practice, I work to help you "self identify" your problem, challenge distorted thoughts and bring about change through mindful understanding. This is particularly useful when dealing with compulsive behaviors. In my therapeutic approach I follow steps to help you create meaning, acceptance, and balance in your life.
Emotional balance and self-acceptance are facilitated when psychotherapy is coupled with mindful awareness. What is mindful awareness? Mindful awareness is simply the art of paying attention with openness and curiosity to the present moment.
