I AM OUT OF THE COUNTRY TILL JANUARY 29, 2024 AND WILL HAVE LIMITED ACCESS TO WIFI. APPOINTMENTS ARE CURRENTLY EXCLUSIVELY BY TELECONFERENCING. I specialize in treating insomnia, sleep disorders, and mood problems. My approach is brief and solution-focused which emphasizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) protocols. Both CBT and CBT-I are evidence-based approaches to treatment. In addition to being a licensed psychologist, certified hypnotherapist, and certified trauma professional I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi).
I try to create a warm and supportive environment, often sprinkled with humor. I practice trauma-informed psychotherapy and CBT, CBT for Insomnia, hypnotherapy. In addition, I work with couples and perform psychological assessments for bariatric surgery and other medical procedures on a limited basis.
