In today's world we all need someone to speak to at times and to help us cope with life challenges. I am hear to listen in a non-judgmental, compassionate manner to help you better understand and resolve those challenges. Together we can work towards you gaining insight into your behavior and choices and finding your full potential. In therapy, we will work towards breaking negative patterns and perceptions that may be holding you back from living a more fulfilling life. Our end goal is for you to have a happy and successful future.
I have over 15 years experience working with a diverse population with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including anxiety, phobias, and depression. I specialize in Trauma, Gay and Lesbian Issues, Woman's Issues, and Couple's Counseling.
What makes my practice unique is I have the ability to use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). This is a client-centered, interactive, technique. I also use Prepare/Enrich to help my couples to identify their strength and growth areas, strengthen communication skills, resolve conflicts and reduce stress.
