Tasha B Pera, MFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Albany
We each have the tools within ourselves to make it possible to improve our lives. There are times, however, that we may be so overwhelmed with difficult circumstances, relationships, or transitions, that we want help from a professional. I have worked with individuals, couples and families who struggle with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, marital and family conflicts, food and substance use. In my practice, I tend to see many adults, as well as adolescents who mainly suffer with anxiety-related problems. I have a positive and respectful attitude.
Coping skills, relaxation and mindfulness are my emphasis. As you become more conscious of your behaviors and feelings, you will gain self-awareness, and this will make change possible for you. It is common for me to provide homework between our sessions. We will work collaboratively to reach your goals in therapy.
My office is in Albany. There are times when I am full or have a waiting list. I do return all of my calls, however, and will let you know about my availability. I place a very high value in serving all of my clients.
