Dr. Donald K Schubert

Psychologist , PhD

(714) 676-3990
It is extremely difficult to change your thoughts or feelings. However, you have 100% control over your behavior. I will teach you how to accept your thoughts and feelings as they are in the present moment and to make specific commitments to change your behaviors. We will work together to create a better life for you one step at a time. I look forward to being your therapeutic partner on your journey toward inner peace and happiness.
I have worked with a wide range of individuals during my 34 years as a clinical psychologist and have been in full-time private practice for 26 years. I integrate the most effective Western psychotherapeutic (primarily acceptance and commitment therapy) and Eastern spiritual practices to help you live a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
I provide individual, couples, and family therapy--specializing in helping people who suffer from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or addiction. Focusing on changing your unhealthy behavioral patterns, I will help you accept your past and make commitments to change your future.
