At Sage Creek Therapy we believe the relationship between the client and the therapist is the most important component of the counseling process. We do not believe in a "one size fits all" way of therapy. Everyone brings their own unique story and we work in a professional relationship with our clients to achieve the goals they set for themselves. We provide services for a variety of issues and concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, co-dependency, infertility, relationship concerns, grief, and trauma.

Many have been helped who suffer from anxiety, panic, post-traumatic stress, phobias, and depression. Medical problems are treated including tension headache, migraine, chronic pain,irritable bowel syndrome, chrones disease, MS, Lupus, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress and immune system insufficiency. Addictions are treated including including sex addiction, addiction to pornography, cyber-gaming, food and nicotine addiction. Also treated are adult children of addicts, and personality disorders. Treatment methods include a solution focused, brief therapy that include cognitive behavior therapy, rational hypnotherapy, bio-feedback and brief, gestalt therapy.

The road to recovery can be overwhelming and not always clear. Alec's educational journey began at Boise State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in communication. Through his studies, he honed his ability to connect with people, effectively convey ideas, and truly understand people's stories. He strives to create an environment where individuals can explore their potential, overcome challenges, and set out on a path that aligns with their authentic selves.

Monica received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Phoenix and her Master's Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. Monica enjoys working with all populations. She works with kids, teens, and adults. She believes that everyone has different needs and therefore requires a custom approach to therapy.

Kelsea has a wide range of experience providing services for clients from diverse backgrounds. She has worked with many clients who have disabilities, chronic health problems or who are in the process of adjusting to a life-changing event, illness or injury. She has also had extensive training in domestic violence response and uses those skills to help clients who need crisis intervention, safety planning, or trauma-informed care. Kelsea works to provide a safe space for clients to process life challenges and recover from trauma. She enjoys helping clients to identify their own personal values and work toward their life goals.

Kristin received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. Kristin recently moved to Idaho and loves exploring her new home. Kristin has developed skills in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. Kristin focuses on client’s strengths and empowering them to reach their goals. She prioritized building rapport and creating a space that is safe and judgement-free.

If you are dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual, physical or emotional abuse, anger management, marital and family conflict, job related stress, I am confident that in a strong therapeutic collaboration with me, your treatment goals will be met. I use a client centered approach with the understanding that for successful therapy the client needs to have active participation in developing treatment goals. I live in Boise, Idaho, where I provide in person and Telehealth sessions. I offer only Telehealth sessions in Ohio. I am certified in EMDR for treating trauma, depresson and OCD. I am also certified in TF-CBT.

For the last twenty years, I have worked in the field of mental health, special education, and substance abuse treatment. I have a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. My approach is down to earth and inviting, and although I am a general practitioner, I have an affinity for working with adolescents, couples, and families.

I primarily have experience working with adults through a wide range of life stages and with diverging ability statuses. Currently, my focus is working with adults and late teens through various presenting concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.

Elena is experienced working with individuals on the Autism spectrum, and has a passion for transition youth at risk. With strength-based interventions she hopes to empower her clients to their fullest potential; adding in play therapy, somatic approaches to foster an engaging and accepting therapeutic environment. With the four languages she speaks, she hopes to continue to bring access to counseling services to various communities in need by proving Telehealth to clients living in rural areas.

I am a seasoned and mature psychoanalyst offering patients an in-depth therapy experience with the goal of very real change. I see most all late adolescent and adult patient populations. I offer several specialties including psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and supportive counseling. Please note that I have extensive experience treating post-traumatic stress disorders and dissociative disorders. I have worked, supervised and taught in Philadelphia, Seattle, Montana and Idaho for thirty plus years and am well recognized in these communities.

In my 40 plus years as a mental health care provider, I have found that regardless of how skilled a clinician I may be, I am only effective when I have successfully developed a working relationship with my clients. This relationship is key to addressing issues, providing encouragement, and enhancing the client's personal motivation. To make the necessary changes in thinking, beliefs and behavior, I work together with my clients to bring about about their desired goals. My areas of focus are anxiety and depressive disorders, treatment of trauma, and marital and family issues.

I recognize that it is difficult to talk with a stranger about problems and therefore, I strive to see my clients' problems through their eyes. Gregory M. Deitchler has been motivating and inspiring large and small audiences for nearly three decades. He combines an extensive education with his remarkable survival from cancer to motivate, inspire and educate his audiences. Because Greg believes with great passion that life is a gift that must be made the most of, he inspires others to live fuller lives and achieve their dreams. Greg was named one of the State of Idaho's top motivators by the Idaho Statesman and was inducted into the Associated Students of Boise State University Hall of Fame for Community Service.

My passion as an LPC and post-graduate trained Certified Disability Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) is to help clients navigate the complex systems and unique barriers they face, using my extensive experience in the legal, employment, medical disability, and behavioral health fields. My clients describe me as warm, engaging, and educational.

I am an Attachment based therapist well versed with severe levels of trauma, anxiety and depression due to family systems, addiction, adoption or other struggles. I have over 20 years experience as a dancer and dance studio owner from which I draw upon for a creative, integrative approach in therapy and fresh approach to understanding my clients. I am also fortunate enough to work collaborately with another therapist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide wraparound services for clients all in our beautiful office space. I believe in exploring all avenues and taking innovative approaches in therapy to aid the client in healing and personal growth.
