As a sex positive counselor, I believe that sexuality should be a normal part of conversation. I work with individuals and couples (both in non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships) and work with members of the LGBTQIA plus population. Specifically, I work with those navigating sexual pain, purity culture recovery, infidelity, and marriage and premarital counseling. Additionally, I am a kink-affirming counselor. I am a member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. Additionally, I work with and welcome clients of all faith backgrounds or no faith at all.

I am an open-minded, non-judgmental person who takes pride in creating fun and unique ways to help my clients. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I have experience working with individuals, couples, and polyam folx on a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+, marital, grief, and stress-related issues. As of late, my personal life journey has lead me to develop a passion for helping others with their relationship concerns, gender identity, human sexuality, intimacy, and sexual dysfunction issues. They want to understand themselves better in order to develop and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others. I believe suffering is a natural response to life's difficulties and, thus, work through a non-pathologizing lens. Experienced in treating couples, adults, and teens 16+ with feelings of depression and anxiety—as well as issues related to relationships, grief and loss, sexuality and identity, trauma, stress management, and life transitions. Therapy is individualized for each client to support reaching a version of self that aligns with their unique values and objectives.

I am a gender-affirming therapist and have completed certification requirements with WPATH, The World Professional Association for Transgender Health. I completed EMDR training with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. I completed certification for treating ADHD. I am beginning the journey to becoming certified with AASECT the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I love assisting clients in feeling more confident in their lives, handling emotional and mental stressors with greater ease, and developing a repertoire or coping skills to find their center under pressure.

I am a PhD level professional clinical counselor, physical therapist, certified professional coach and (RYT), with expertise in individual, group, and relationship therapy licensed in OH and FL. I have been working with infertility for 25+ years and a neonatal developmental specialist. I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and co- founder of Dare2Care, a Cleveland based LGBTQ focused anti-bullying organization, now an embedded program of the Cleveland Leadership Center. I have significant experience working with grief, loss and relationship betrayal and approach this work from a trauma model.

Clients come to me to pursue their life goals and dreams. My clients often arrive knowing where they want to go and simply need support to find the path that leads to building the lives they truly deserve. I greatly enjoy watching people transition into their true selves as they connect fully with their authentic identity, find their voice, renegotiate meaningful relationships and work through difficult emotions that in the past seemed to fight against them, and block their access towards finding resilience. I have a passion for supporting people in my colorful community.

I believe that everyone has an innate ability to move towards growth, healing, and fulfillment. I approach therapy from a perspective learning and believe that the more we learn about ourselves, the better able we are to make choices about how we want to move forward in life. I use an integrative framework to address each client’s individual needs. I work from a trauma informed lens and use interventions from existential, Attachment Theory, Gottman, ACT, IPT, and EFT.

My ideal client is someone who has or wants to set a life or performance goal but needs help setting or attaining it. I specialize in working with adults who are employed in high-performance settings, including athletes and para-athletes, performance artists, "corporate athletes", chefs, future and current surgeons, medical personnel and first responders. Also, being an avid pop-culture enthusiast, I can connect with those willing to use characters like Batman, Black Panther, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, or any movie, television show, anime, video game, or piece of music that helps one reflect and try to embrace life uniquely.

As a therapist I invite individuals for counseling. Despite mental health being a topic people don't want to talk about, I value your time and try to make you as comfortable as possible. My goal is to empower you to make the change you want and create a life worth living.

Currently Not Accepting New Clients- Life can be full of unexpected changes and loss. Sometimes these experiences can feel too overwhelming to handle on your own. In my approach, I take a wholistic view and look at all factors that may be contributing to the problem. I am extremely passionate about sexual wellness and how this impacts wellbeing.

I chose a career in counseling because I have always had a passion for helping others. I believe patients deserve a safe place to share and work on struggles in all aspects of their lives. During an initial evaluation, my goal is to develop an understanding of what each individual patient is seeking and provide a thorough consultation of how to direct treatment. I completed a Master of Arts in counseling at Ursuline College. I will not be accepting new patients until March 2024.
