I have been practicing as a licensed clinical psychologist in the Columbia area for over 35 years. I use a caring, and direct, solution-focused approach to help individuals and couples to better understand themselves and to help them find solutions to their difficulties. I treat individuals who experience anxiety, depression, and addictions. I treat couples who are trying to understand how their relationship deteriorated, how to resolve conflicts, how to re-establish emotional intimacy, and how to prevent future difficulties. I also conduct psychological and custody evaluations for individuals and for the court system.

At Abilities Reimagined, we specialize in testing for learning and behavioral disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, autism, anxiety, and more. Our assessments extend beyond a one-time office visit. We prioritize capturing the most accurate daily picture of your child's abilities. When appropriate, we offer the option to conduct observations in their natural environment like school. In addition to evaluations for disabilities, we also conduct WISC-V and WAIS-IV assessments for giftedness and provide admissions testing for private schools.

Dr. Yelder is also a verified Service Connected Disabled Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who was Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps. Dr. Bos is a board certified pediatric neuropsychologist with 26 years of experience. He is actively involved in clinical practice, scholarship, and professional organizations, and is committed to excellence in these professional activities. Dr. Bos authored 4 entries for the Sage Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology (2017) and 2 entries to the Sage Encyclopedia of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (2018). He currently has two chapter in preparation for a forth coming volume on Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder.

Early identification and remediation of lagging skills are associated with greater academic success, improved interpersonal relationships, higher earnings, greater employment stability, and lower likelihood of involvement with the criminal justice system (Aos, Lieb, Mayfield, Miller, & Pennucci, 2004).
