My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

I believe that regardless of where you've been, what you've done, or where you are now, you inherently have value and worth. My mission is to help you see your inherent worth, and to journey along a path in which we can discover the authentic you. My speciality is young adults who are survivors of trauma including, but not limited to, childhood abuse and neglect and sexual abuse. Ultimately, I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most important thing, so I work to tailor my approach in a way that is unique and best fits each individual client.

Jayne is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 26 years of experience in the mental health field. She enjoys working with clients who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, Codependency, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Anger and Stress Management, Self-esteem Development, Families impacted by addictions and the many challenges that LGBTQ clients face. She also has extensive experience with substance abuse treatment. She focuses on the strengths the client brings to therapy and considers it an honor to be a part of the therapy process with her clients.

My approach to therapy utilizes a foundation that life experiences, even as early as childhood, shape our view of the world around us, how we relate to others, and how we view ourselves. These experiences, in turn, shape our beliefs, thoughts, perceptions and interactions throughout every aspect of our lives.

People should live happier, healthier lives. That is what all people want and deserve. My focus is on helping people achieve ALL of their goals. Everyone goes through tough times. Some people go through them on their own, but sometimes it takes a professional, unbiased perspective to help. People are the result of both nature (inherited traits) and nurture (environment) which form lenses through which we perceive the world.
