Hi there! I'm Kristen, and my interest is people. I love getting to know about other's passions, feelings, attitudes, and ideas. And that's exactly what brought me to therapy! I get excited when others are looking to explore their own lives for ways to improve, no matter how small. I work well with clients who ruminate and tend to get caught in the vicious cycles of depression and anxiety by examining daily behaviors and thoughts. I am a clinical mental health provider and a forensic child custody evaluator. I have over 200 hours and 2 years of specialized training in conducting forensic chiId custody evaluations. I have helped many people with emotional and behavioral problems. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for 30 years and I very much enjoy my work. My goal is to help people with healing, and in so doing help them to live a more joyful and meaningful life. I have years of experience helping clients address and recover from many different issues. I work with emotional wounds that are often at the core of issues that clients bring to me, and with healing trauma including religious trauma. I have found that when these wounds can be addressed in a safe environment, healing can take place.
