I had a psychology practice in Austin for 20 years, relocating to Albuquerque in 2012. As an outgrowth of my continuing work with clients from Texas, I have developed a specialty in providing internet therapy. My specialties include eating disorders, complex mood disorders, personality disorders, recovery from narcissistic abuse, and helping families with "failure to launch" young adults. I also provide consultation to parents who are struggling with an oppositional adolescent or an adult child with ongoing difficulties. I provide both therapeutic and forensic psychological evaluations.

Dr. Sharp conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for all ages. Evaluation services include testing for learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental evaluations, other psychological & cognitive (IQ) concerns; diagnostic clarification, adoption cases, foster care services, & more. We also offer psychological testing for independent educational evaluations (IEE), 2e, law enforcement, TPAPN, & related assessments. We assess for school readiness & entrance examinations. We offer CANS assessments. We work closely with families & the community to provide quality care & services to our clients.

Tyler is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in assisting clients overcome intensive challenges in their life over the course of his career. He attended Southwestern University to complete his Bachelors of Science in Psychology. He graduated from Angelo State University with his Masters degree in counseling, and since then has worked in community services specializing in outpatient behavioral health and assessment of intensive mental health concerns. Tyler has experience working with individuals with a wide range of concerns and backgrounds including those who identify as LGBTQIA+

I have over ten years worth of experience working with children ages 3-18 in various settings throughout my professional career. I have five years of experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of mental health diagnosis (i.e. Autism Spectrum disorder, ADHD, ODD, etc.). I also have experience addressing behavioral problems, parent-child relationship difficulties, improving parenting skills, and improving communication between family members.

As a mother of three, and a counselor for over 20 years, I know how difficult it is to grow up in this world today. I received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a Master's in School Psychology, with a minor in Special Education. I have worked 13 years in Law Enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff/Correctional Officer, Prison Guard, Adult Probation officer, and Texas Youth Commission Parole Officer. I have over 24 years in education, 16 of which as a school counselor. Integrates Enneagram practices into therapeutic planning. I specialize in working with marriages in crisis, relationship issues, grief, and oppositional defiant behavior.

I have 20 years of clinical experience helping children and teens with a variety of issues including Autism Spectrum Disorder(All ages), ODD, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, behavior problems, parenting challenges, communication skills and helping the families cope with these issues. Additionally I have 15 years experience specializing in working with special education eligible students and their families as well as all at risk students and other school challenges. I believe in focusing on the family and helping parents learn skills to manage behaviors and improve communitcation at home. Additionally, I work with GBLT, trauma, men's/woman's issues, marital issues, individual & family conflict.

Going through life with all of our day to day occurrences plus the unexpected ones can cause our vision to become clouded. We've all been there- I've been there. You don't have to sort it out on your own. Sometimes our challenges are due to circumstances we had no control over like traumas or other events and sometimes it is due to issues within our families and each issue impacts an individual differently- this is why restoring and managing relationships is often a focus of therapy. I can understand that desire for a renewed mind; free from the stress and worry of the world, to be able to live with peace and order.
