My primary services are psychological testing/diagnosis and counseling. I accept clients ages 3+ but specialize in working with ages 12+.

In addition to working on social skills and behavior management with clients and their families, Sarah has extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, art therapy and play therapy to help children who've been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. My goal is to gain a clear picture of each individual's needs, explore new and more effective ways of problem solving, and help each individual develop greater insight and growth. I believe the relational component of therapy is essential and serves at the foundation for establishing trust, compassion, empathy, and respect. I have expertise in working with individuals of all ages: children, adolescents, adults and families.

We may develop patterns of coping that lead us to feel stuck or isolated, particularly when we struggle with symptoms of anxiety and depression. I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

I work primarily with children, as well as their families, to help them have their best lives. Life can be tough and it's my job to help your child work through that by giving them, and you as the parent, tools to help them through that. I have experience in a plethora of settings and utilize this to help you reach your goals.

I work with children ages three and up and their families in dealing with a variety of issues. Anxiety in children seems to be becoming more common. I am experienced in dealing with a variety of trauma and am trained in Sandplay Therapy. I have experience in working with military and law enforcement family issues. I am also an EMDR therapist working with trauma.

Engaging in the process of psychotherapy invites you to become more self-aware. This heightened awareness can inspire and encourage you to seek changes in your relationship with yourself and others. I join in collaboration with my clients to better understand past and present experiences and how they currently affect life options, choices, and decisions.
