Some of our providers offer evening, weekend and telemental (online video platform) appointments. We do our best to schedule initial appointments as soon as possible following your call! My approach to counseling is one of offering space to client for their own empowerment and assisting my clients in becoming active participants in their thoughts, growth, and lives. I strive to embody trust, transparency, and authenticity in all realms of my life and work. I believe a relationship with a counselor is a caring space where one can be themselves without worries of judgment. From my perspective, counseling is a safe relationship in which one can explore their concerns, learn about themselves and the world around them, and try new things to find what works to harness positive change and improve well-being.

Fairhaven is a safe place where Hope & Healing begin. We even have a therapy dog in the office who loves to accompany adults & children into session. I love to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, & families. I work with ADHD, Asperger's, depression, abuse recovery, anxiety, grieving, career planning & development with teens & adults. Many of my clients want spiritual direction. I have worked extensively with Christians of all walks and provide gentle Christian direction, if desired. I have also worked with people of the Jewish and Muslim faiths. I see athiests as well, but never try to push faith upon them.

Dr. Faur is a licensed psychologist in Ohio specializing in the treatment of OCD, PTSD, anxiety and depression. She has diverse experience working with children, adolescents and adults during graduate training, fellowship in Psychiatry at the Boston University School of Medicine/Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology and the Cleveland VA. Dr. Faur offers diagnostic assessment and empirically based treatment. She is passionate about working with adults with a variety of disorders, life problems and existential crises as well as helping young people struggling with self-esteem, depression, anxiety and behavioral problems.
