My name is Dr. Jeff Selman and I am a licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a certified school psychologist. I offer evidence-based telepsychology services to individuals across the lifespan and their families. These services include autism screening and assessment, individual and family therapy, parent behavior management training and coaching, and consultation and training for schools and community agencies. My approach is grounded in cognitive behavior therapy and behavior therapy. My sessions tend to be active, goal-oriented, and engaging. I love the work and welcomes complex and challenging cases.

I provide psychological evaluation and counseling for children, adolescents and young adults, with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD/ADD, anxiety, mood disorders, and learning disorders. Trained at the Yale Center for Traumatic Stress and Recovery, I help young adults and families who are struggling in the wake of recent traumatic events, or stressful events that may have happened years ago. Clients I have helped on the path to recovery have experienced sexual, physical or emotional abuse, domestic, school or community violence, motor vehicle accidents, loss of a parent or important attachment figure, natural or man-made disasters, a stressful life change, and multiple or complex traumas. They may also suffer from symptoms of anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, and have difficulties concentrating or sleeping.

Accepting NEW Clients. The New England Wellness (NEW) Center specializes in child, adolescent and young adult psychiatry as well as parenting support. We provide psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluations & consults (which provide diagnostic clarification for treatment or referral purposes), neuropsychological testing, psycho-education, collaboration with schools and physicians, and group therapy.
