At my office, I hope to make sure all feel welcome. I want my clients to know that I hear you and I see you; your pain matters. Brutality at the hands of others is hard to process, but I hope we can go on that journey together. I specialize in trauma recovery, but also treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and more severe disorders. I work with my client to find what therapy methods work best for her/him/them, as we are all different individuals with different needs.

We are a diverse practice with locations in Lake Norman and Winston-Salem that provides psychotherapy in person or online, psychological testing, consulting services, and clinical supervision in NC. We serve children ages 3 and up, families, teens, couples and adults. We also provide educational consulting for 504/IEP planning. Our organizational consulting services help leadership teams grow and learn and our private practice consulting helps clinicians ready to take the leap into private practice. I appreciate the variety and have the skills to help a wide range of patients, but I'm especially useful with patients who've had problems connecting with other therapists. I'm very familiar with physical and sexual abuse, but also with alienation and with spiritual and emotional trauma. Adoption and attachment issues are also a special interest. I'm trained and certified (Level II) in EMDR and DNMS, trauma-based treatments for people whose developmental needs were not met as children. I have extensive experience working with PTSD and dissociative patients, but also with "plain vanilla" folks -- of varying ethnicities -- challenged by difficult circumstances.
